Article Organization

I'm thinking we will likely follow Wikipedia's organization strategy:

Title: Represents a single game title with any number of identifiable characters.

Franchise: Represents larger franchises with multiple re-occurring characters.

Character: For instances where a character is iconic enough to appear in several titles at once (e.g. Mario).

We might also want to have an Iconic page type for outfits that are iconic enough to have been used or referenced in several different franchises and merit their own article.

Page Organization

The general form of a page would be:

  • Intro blurb
  • Image (of title, franchise, or character)
  • Info (developer, character designers, series, genre, etc)
  • Sections for characters.

We might want to have each outfit be it's own sub-page of the host-page and included via transclusion. That might lend itself better to searching (e.g. Search for all distinct outfits that have 'gloves')

Outfit Entries

  • Optional intro blurb
  • In-game name and description if available.
  • Image(s) (In-game screenshot, promo art, concept art, 3D archive render)
  • Alphabetical listing of costume elements

e.g:

  • Cap: Red, Monogrammed 'M'
  • Gloves: White
  • Overalls: Denim, Blue
  • Shirt: Red
  • Shoes: Brown

Additional Considerations

Might need some way to represent non-outfit related fashion elements such as hairstyles or tattoos.
